Frequently asked questions
The things people ask most often about ordering, custom work and looking after handmade paper art.
Is every piece really handmade?
Yes. Every artwork is cut, rolled and shaped by hand from individual strips of paper. Nothing is printed or mass-produced, which is why no two pieces are ever identical.
How long will my order take?
It depends on the piece. Ready-to-ship artworks are already made; made-to-order pieces are only started once your order is placed. The timing for each piece is shown on its own product page under Shipping & returns.
Can I order a custom piece?
Yes — that is a lot of what I do. Send your idea, names, or a reference photograph through the Custom Artwork page and I will come back to you with a quote and a timeline.
Can I change the name or wording on a nameplate?
Yes. Personalised pieces have a field on the product page where you enter exactly the text you would like crafted. Please double-check the spelling — the piece is made with the wording you submit.
Do you ship outside India?
Get in touch before ordering and I will confirm whether I can ship to your country and what it would cost.
How is the artwork packed?
By hand, in protective wrapping and a sturdy box, with corner protection on framed pieces. Everything ships with tracking.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
Contact me within 48 hours with photographs of the artwork and the outer packaging, and I will arrange a replacement or refund.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-to-ship pieces can be returned if they arrive damaged. Personalised and made-to-order pieces cannot be returned, as they are made specifically for you.
How should I look after my artwork?
Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from damp, and dust the frame gently. Paper artwork lasts beautifully indoors when it is kept dry.
Do you run workshops?
Yes — short hands-on sessions for small groups. See the Workshops page, or the Learn with Me page for the upcoming Academy memberships.
